Happy 2018, friends!

I have an exciting announcement to make!  Drum-roll, please…

WE’RE MOVING!!!

No, I’m not leaving Texas.  No, I’m not moving homes… but the blog is!

My “lease” at WordPress is up soon, so I’m transferring the blog to a self-hosted site.  Don’t fret.  No need for tearful goodbyes.  The blog will remain intact, and your subscribership should remain unchanged.

It mostly means that this coming month I’ll be busy “setting up shop” on a new website to ensure that everything is transferred over before the expiration of the current site, which is February 15.  I’ll be the one fretting— since I am NOT tech savvy…. at…all.

As a personal favor to me, IF you get a request asking to re-subscribe to the blog, then please do so.  I’ll deeply miss you if you don’t!  I honestly don’t know if you’ll get asked to re-subscribe or not.  Remember me, the not so tech savvy person?  But you might get asked, so I’m just giving you a heads up.

Stay tuned for updates!  I’ll send out an announcement once the new site is up and running!  AND we’ll celebrate soon with some fun GIVEAWAYS!!  Woohoo!

Speaking of celebration, all of this also means that my blog is almost one year old!  What a blessing!  My very first post was on March 26, 2017: “Here Am I.”  Thank you, friends, for your faithful support and encouragement these past 10 months.  We have grown to a family of 145 subscribers, and I pray that we will grow even more in 2018!

Let’s get the word out to the world that we want to put Faith and Family first!  Let’s honor God by following His commandments, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” – Matthew 22:37-39

Is “reading more” one of your New Year’s Resolutions?  You’re in luck!
